With these newer techniques, I’m able to provide an exact fitting and therefore, an increase in satisfaction in their breast augmentation procedure.

Sore Breasts… Painful Breasts – First thing we want to do is find out the nature of the pain. Whether or not is it intermittent? Is it localized to one particular area? Is there some movement such as jumping up or down or laying down on one side? Also, we would look at any appearance of the breast. Does one breast look any more swollen or bruised? Is the breast painful when you move it? Most importantly – is the breast soft when you attempt to squeeze it?

Swollen Breasts – If it’s unilateral could indicate a delayed bleeding (hematoma) inside the space where the implant is. It could also indicate an accumulation of fluid. The fluid could be clear or milky – from interruption or trauma to the milk ducks – for someone who has milk glands that are still producing. You also want to see if the swelling has distorted the breast - in other words – a capsular contracture can result That’s a breast that could look bigger than the other simply because the capsule has elevated the implant and now there’s more fullness in the upper part of the breast tissue compared to the opposite side.

If it’s bilateral – the concern is infection to both breasts. That would go along with fever – and a weakened feeling. In that case, you want to come in immediately.

Breast Discharge – We are supposing the breast was not discharging prior to her cosmetic surgery. If that’s the case, we’d be concerned about a possible rupture of the implant with extrusion of the silicone into the ducts of the breast tissue. Of course that would visible as a nipple discharge – but, it’s extremely rare. A more likely explanation is an infection of the breast duct, of which, we would get her on appropriate antibiotics.

As much as women like to look and feel their best – guys do to. “Moobs” is combination of the words “man” and “boobs.” This is what happens when fat gathers in a male’s chest area, and gives him the appearance of having breasts. This condition is usually seen in overweight males, but also occurs in men who are not really overweight. And can occur a younger age. And, you see them more and more.

Why Do Men Get Moobs/Man Boobs?

Dr Maurice Sherman says the common medical term is Pseudo Gynecomastia and, there are two reasons for this condition: fat accumulation and the more rarer, glandular accumulation; or, a combination of the two.
