Minimally Invasive Ultrasonic Body Contouring Technology

VASER®Lipo is an advanced body contouring procedure that selectively removes unwanted body fat. An alternative to the harsh techniques of traditional liposuction, VASER®Lipo uses state-of-the-art ultrasound technology designed to gently reshape your body. What distinguishes the VASER®Lipo procedure is its ability to differentiate targeted fat from other important tissues – such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. How Does VASER®Lipo work?

VASER Lipo uses a minimally invasive technique called LipoSelection® to selectively break apart and gently remove unwanted fat. LipoSelection® is a revolutionary way to treat and eliminate exercise resistant fat cells that is exclusive to the VASER® System technology. This patented system is designed to target and dissolve fat deposits through ultrasound energy vibrations.

The procedure begins when the targeted area is injected with a special saline solution known as “tumescent fluid.” The tumescent fluid numbs the target area as well as shrinking local blood vessels. It also temporarily inflates the volume of the targeted area, making the targeted fat cells easier to remove. The fat cells at this time can either be discarded or utilized, if desired, by the client in body contouring techniques via our highly-skilled fat transfer procedures.

The next step in the procedure is that small-diameter probes are then inserted into the body through small incisions. By resonating at a high ultrasonic frequency, the probes literally shake loose fat cells — while leaving blood vessels, nerves and connective tissues unharmed. The loose fat cells readily mix with the tumescent fluid, which is then easily removed from the selected area using gentle suction.

After the minimally invasive surgery, patients are prescribed a recovery regimen to promote maximum skin retraction and smooth results. Massage therapy may also be recommended to enhance results and speed recovery.
