Newly married lovebirds in their 60's receive cosmetic treatments, looking to "grow young" together.
San Diego, CA — September 24th, 2007 — A newly married couple recently became patients of Dr. Maurice Sherman and the Del Mar Cosmetic Medical Center. Both in their 60's and previously widowed, they have decided they want to "grow young" together and have opted to receive Sculptra cosmetic treatments to help them on their journey.
"This is more common than you might think", Dr. Sherman revealed. "We have several couples that receive cosmetic treatments together. We also have 3 sisters who come in together regularly for cosmetic treatments. We even had a mother and daughter who both had a liposuction procedure and Botox injections prior to the daughter's wedding".
So why did the couple in their 60's choose Sculptra? Dr. Sherman states that "as you age, you tend to lose facial fat, which can lead to deep creases and a "sunken" appearance. Sculptra is a popular injectable filler effective for the treatment of deeper creases and wrinkles such as the Nasolabial folds (the grooves that start by your nose and go down the sides of your mouth). It is also used to "plump" up and sculpt the face in areas where there is a loss of fat. Because it is non-surgical, Sculptra is commonly used by patients who wish to address signs of facial aging due to fat loss, but are not quite ready for facial surgery or a complete facelift.
A series of Sculptra treatments are administered at intervals of a few weeks to a month is advised, depending upon the desired results. Results can last up to 3 years.
