Endoscopic Forehead Lift
An Endoscopic Forehead Lift, also called a Brow Lift, surgically corrects drooping eyebrows and softens worried or angry expressions that result from frown lines.
We offer a revolutionary new approach to the Endoscopic Forehead Lift, using the Endotine fixation device, that is simple, quick and highly effective. The advantages of this device include:
- No metal screws to elevate the skin
- Smaller incisions, less scarring
- No sutures
- No need to remove the device , since the Endotine Forehead device absorbs over time
- Device can be adjusted after surgery, if necessary, allowing more control of your brow height and shape
What are the advantages of having an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
- A more youthful and rested appearance to the forehead and upper eyelids.
- Corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.
Who is a good candidate for an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
- If your forehead sags or your brows hang too low and too close to the eyes.
- If you have deep vertical furrows between the eyebrows (frown lines).
What does an Endoscopic Forehead Lift procedure involve?
In all Forehead Lift procedures, the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping are removed or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize frown lines. The results are smoother forehead skin and a more animated appearance.
In an Endoscopic Forehead Lift (vs. an "Open" Forehead Lift), a small, pencil-like camera device connected to a television monitor is inserted in several small incisions placed just behind the hairline, providing a clear view of the muscles and tissues beneath the skin. Another instrument is then inserted through one of the small incisions to lift the skin and remove or alter muscle, if necessary.
How long does an Endoscopic Forehead Lift take?
Usually between 1-2 hours
How long does it take to recover from an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
Most swelling and bruising is gone in 7-10 days.
When can I expect to see results from my Forehead Lift?
Results are immediate with improvement over time. It may take several months to obtain final results.
When can I go back to work/resume my normal activities after having an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
You may return to work in just a few days after having surgery.
How long will the results of an Endoscopic Forehead Lift last?
The length of time your brow lift lasts will vary. A number of factors, including heredity and lifestyle, all play a role in your long-term results. Although you will appear younger, remember that you are still continuing to age. In the future, you may also want to make additional surgical improvements.
What are my alternatives to having an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
An "Open" Forehead Lift or Brow Lift". Additional procedures that may enhance the result are Lower and/or Upper Eyelid lift, Face Lift, or other facial procedures or implants.
What are the risks involved with having an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
The specific risks and the suitability of this procedure for a given individual can be determined only at the time of consultation. All surgical procedures have some degree of risk. Minor complications that do not affect the outcome occur occasionally. Major complications are rare.
