San Diego Neck Lift

A Neck Lift rejuvenates the neck by reducing fullness as well as skin and muscle sagging that can occur due to heredity or the effects of aging.

What are the advantages of having a Neck Lift?

You can expect to see a much firmer and younger looking neckline after a necklift.

Who is a good candidate for a Neck Lift?
  • If you have drooping, wrinkled or sagging neck skin.
  • If you have weakened or loosened neck muscles that causes the "turkey waddle" or appearance of neck "bands".
What does a Neck Lift procedure involve?

The surgery of the neck is reached through incisions around the ears and through tiny incisions under the chin. The neck (platysma) muscle is tightened to achieve a more youthful look. When there is a good deal of extra skin, it can be removed as part of the lift. This placement of the incisions permits hiding the scars behind the ears.

How long does a Neck Lift take?

Typically 2-3 hours.
